Update: More opportunities to talk with us about the consultation on Westport Flood Protection Scheme reset

As we head into the second half of the submission period for the Special Consultative Procedure on the Westport Flood Protection Scheme, we’re continuing to make the project team available at a range of times so people can engage in a way that works for them.

Alongside our regular Wednesday drop-ins from 11am–1pm, we’ll be holding two evening drop-ins at the Resilient Westport/West Coast Regional Council office @ 147 Palmerston Street, Westport.

If you want to come along to chat to Project Manager Phil Rossiter and Senior Engagement Advisor Stephanie Newburry, come along at:

• Thursday 15 October, 5pm–7pm

• Monday 19 October, 5pm–7pm

The submission period on the proposed changes runs from Monday 21 September until 21 October 2026 at 5pm.
